Quiet New Year

Zoom Julie

For some reason all of the cats were pretty sleepy today.  Gus was probably the most active, making up for lost time.  I was doing some cleaning up and watching some of the games in-between.  In one of the breaks I tried some shots with the SZ camera, which showed its good and bad sides.  The above shot showed its zoom ability, getting some crazy detail from a good distance.

The bad point is that this is just too close – I had to tweak it to increase the contrast.  Best to save it for movies or for outdoors shots where it shows its stuff better.

Patient Calla

So tonight it was back to the baby camera for my close up ‘annoy the cats’ time.  Calla was unenthusiastic the whole time, clearly preferring to rest in peace in the basket.

She was patient for a while….

Not Quite So Patient Calla

When I started adding things to the basket she came a lot closer to her limit.

I decided to give her (and the others) a bit of treats to make up for the trouble and got this shot…

False Appearances

She really does like the treats, despite how it looks!  Pinky-swear!

She looks so pretty with the basket and feathers!

Your cats are patient for sure. Many of my feline patients simply turn away as soon as they see the camera (they know exactly when to turn!). Great detail in the first photo, wow! Love the pics :-)

  3. That tongue says she’s loving the treat enough to want to get every crumb! MOL
I’m late, but just catching, so I wanted to say Happy New Year!
