I’m feeling a bit better, but Gus isn’t so sure that is a good thing as I took the opportunity to give him a thorough wet-nap bath today which he complained about loudly and often. I even brushed him afterward which makes his fur look good and his expression look sour.
Calla was a bit startled by Julius today. She was down on the sofa when Julie started one of his upstairs rumble-runs and came all the way down and around the living room, ending up sitting in the cat tree in the center. Calla looked a lot like this….
But a bit later she was sitting here, on the stair landing when Julius started another run. He came tearing to the stairs, then saw her below and….slowed down. When he got to the landing next to her he was walking slowly and stopped.
Such a gentleman! So Calla gave him a couple of swats on the jaw for a reward.
After the bath incident Gus found the herb bag for a bit of comfort, even if it in Calla’s usual turf.
Nobody really knows why Julie does what Julie does.

You have lovely feline friends! Thanks for the wonderful blog!
Thank you and welcome to the blog!
That ripping through the house thing, Star does that.. Usually after a trip to the box, but for an old kitty, she can run like a mad cat! Up and down, around the center, back up then down to attack a toy, then she sits down like nothing unusual has happened.. Nutty critters!
Poor Julie, getting swatted for slowing down!
Gus looks great tonight! Brushing did him some good!
Calla, always lovely, even startled!
Glad you are feeling a bit better. Calla’s expression definitely says it all
I’m sure Julie has his reasons! woo woo!
So glad you are on the mend xxx
Their expressions are priceless!
