He looks rested now, but the highlight of this idle day was when Julie came tearing into the open back door and right up the stairs to the upper storey bedrooms without stopping. The other cats, and myself too, were wondering what he was so scared about.
A while later I opened the front door and found a box on the porch, so the assumption is that the delivery man is what spooked Julie so badly.
Gus at least was able to ignore the delivery-man terror…
The delivery was part of a cat tree…but not all of it. The central pole that makes the rest work was not included. The big platforms are at least large enough for all of the cats to lie stretched out. Most of the other platforms are stepping-stones to reach one of the two big platforms.
This one is destined to go upstairs in the computer room, so odds are it won’t be featured much on this blog once I get it set up. There is a nook up there that has two walls with windows that will give the cats a good view out the front, plus a ladder to get to the high shelves nearby in the room.

We do want to see at least one picture once it’s assembled…. looks pretty cool.
Wow, that looks like it’s going to be awesome! Oh come on! You have to show it at least once in a while, please! It looks too cool to not show off!
That depends on how bad a job I do setting it up….
I hope they like their kitty tree. Plz show it once it is assembled. The Miaos need a new one. I know someone who custom-makes kitty trees but I have to show him pictures of what I want and get an estimate. I still haven’t figured out what I want to to be like, except that it needs to be tall and stable and have little cubbyholes.
So show him a picture of the Taj Mahal, and paste Sprocket on top!
