Grumpy Day

Today everyone is a bit out-of-sorts, and the weather is matching it – grey and overcast without being interesting in any way.  Calla was sitting on the first landing of the stairs instead of being outside, which says a lot.   The toys are some of the ones that everyone ignores.

Gus was equally grumpy.  I got grumpy too when I saw the bits of mouse on the carpet nearby.  Julius was unavailable for comment.

Then Calla went to stage 2 grumpiness – “I’m lying down but NOT ENJOYING IT”.

So just for kicks here’s a little movie I made yesterday showing one of Calla’s little quirks when you scratch her back.

I like how she stops the instant you stop scratching.

    She has a Silly Spot!

That’s what we call it, I’ve seen that exact behavior before.

Heehee! They do look grumpy. I wonder if any of the Miaos have Silly Spots too.

Found another mouse? Chun caught one last night. After my father disposed of it, Chun kept looking for it. He was confuzzled. Today, he is back to sentry duty in the basement. How can we have so many mice?

  3. Callie has a Licky Spot! Our Royal Fuzzmon had one, too.

Aw they do look well grumpy!

    That was ADORABLE.

Kiefer has the Licky Spot too. It’s his entire spine. If I scratch or tickle, over his spine he either licky his chest or his left foot. Stop immediately when I stop. I don’t do it too much, because I wonder if it bothers him or not.
