Perky Gus

Gus felt normal enough to decide to bite Julius after he came in from outside today, which is the first time in a while.  I did find a bit of a mat on his spine today right at the base of the tail, which I may trim with scissors during the week or with the clippers next weekend.

As you might be able to see, the little attachments on the clipper leave quite a bit of hair left, just taking off the tip at various lengths.  You can take them off for getting a mat away at the roots.

Mister Copper Eye…

Calla kept out of it by sleeping in her basket.  I got up pretty early last night and she might be a little out of sorts about it.

I’m glad you didn’t have to shave Gus’ belly all the way down. There is nothing worse than a fluffy white-tummied cat with a bare pink tummy.
