Weekend Roundup

Gus was pretty pleased that there was no big haircutting session this weekend.  This picture gives a pretty good view of the lack of bulk behind the shoulders, which has kept the matting away.

He was acting a bit grumpy with the others so I gave in and fed him dinner early.  I’ll have to see if his acting up is hunger related in the future.  There’s lots of dry food about because the other cats prefer it, and in the summer sometimes the wet food wouldn’t be eaten during the day.

It is always interesting to see that a cat as active as Julie can just switch it off and just do nothing for hours…then a switch goes off and he’s off investigating something or wanting to go out exploring again.  That side of him is a lot harder to fit in the camera frame, though.

I think Calla has forgiven the pictures from yesterday, because she is such a sweet girl.  The flame in the eyes and the clenched paws seem to indicate otherwise.

I’m kidding, she’s not mad.  I do like the “flame” effect in the pupils though.

I just love Gus’s new do. Reminds me of some extremely chic haircuts I’ve seen. “The Gamine.” http://www.hairstylescut.com/short-hairstyles/pixie-haircuts.htm

Gus does look lighter. Julie and Calla both look so pretty.
