Gus was outside for a bit yesterday himself.  He tends to avoid the direct sunlight because of his dark fur.  There was enough sun to light up those whiskers of his, though.

He still prefers the front – when Julie ran outside as I was leaving to get the mail, Gus was right out after him.  Unlike Julie, though, Gus does not go far.

Usually by the time I get back from picking up the mail from the box, Calpurnia is outside too.  She tends to want to go walk over to the neighbor’s front door and porch, which is kind of embarrassing when you follow her.

This shot makes her look like a loaf of bread.  Looks like my oven is pretty unevenly heating things, though.

    Nice whiskers Gus and pretty eyes too. Sylvia has lovely white whiskers like Gus and I just love them as well as her pale green eyes.
