Calla had a rough evening tonight. She was sitting at the bottom of the steps and Julie came up behind her. I don’t think he smacked her, but when she turned around and he was right there almost touching her she let out a huge yowl.
It sure startled Julie – it has been a long time since she did anything more than her usual soft ‘m-ack-ack’ sounds. Or a quick hiss.
When Julie went out Calla spent some time just walking around the living room rubbing on the corners. After a bit Gus decided to start following her around putting his own mark on top.
Finally Gus gave up and went to rest at the ‘point’ giving her more space. She’s spent a while calming down in some of her more out-of-the-way resting spots. I think it was just Julie being a goof more than a goon.
