Calpurnia is Cute

News Flash!  Calpurnia is awful cute.

I had kind of a veg-out day today but when it comes to quick blog content Calla is always there to look really, really cute.

I’m not sure what little noise upstairs got her attention, but I like the focus she has.  Ears and whiskers primed and ready!

…and then, the calm and sweet look to finish it off.

Apparently Duck posts are very popular.  Considering changing the name of the blog to TwoDuckPool to catch the wave of interest.

She really is the sweetest. I would love to give her a big hug right now – that soft rich fur and royal deportment is appealing, not to forget of course her cat intelligence and talents.

  5. She’s one elegant lady. I don’t know if she is or not, but she looks petite, fluffy, but petite. I would not be able to stop snuggling her if I were anywhere near her, MOL

Her last weigh in was at about 11.5 pounds, and she probably hasn’t lost much. That’s within a pound or so of the other two. She’s smaller but has a stockier build – Julie is long and tall but very lean. Gus is in the middle, probably a little stockier than an average cat.

She was 7.5 when I first got her – another sign that something was off where she used to be.

Calla has a very good groan-meow she uses when you pick her up too much. The best tactic for her is to let her settle near you on her own then pet her.

Every cat has their own special, unique talent. Calla’s is being adorable at all times.
