Little World

I was just thinking the other day how good Julius has been about coming in early when yesterday he stayed out until 1:30 AM.  I think I did hear him cruise by a few hours before that so it was a bit less worrying.  From where he returns from I think most of his time is spent on the same side of the wall as the houses.

Aside from Calpurnia’s ambling over to the neighbor’s front door, and some visits to the pool, the other two cats are content to stay close.  They sun on the rocks if it is cool, duck into the shade or inside if it is too sunny, and lie down in the leaves and twigs when they want to get dirty.

There’s the new gate behind Gus – I keep forgetting it actually opens properly.  I’ve seen all of the cats peer under it from time to time, which may become a source of entertainment.

But even so, the main attraction of the yard for a pair of shy cats is that the walls keep everything else out so they can enjoy the outside in peace.

Lovely pics of them all, especially Julius. Looks like his kingdom stretches to the far hills!

  3. I think it’s wonderful that they have a safe yard to play in, even if Julie goes out of it! I bet they all just love it!
