Calpurnia was being a little more difficult a photo subject today because she was hanging out on the patio weaving in and out of the furniture, coming close and moving back.   It is the kind of thing Julie does almost all the time.

My camera’s sluggish AI lags far behind a cat that decides to move about.

Sometimes it works out, and sometimes….

…not so much!

Too bad she walked forward and lifted her head out of frame.  I do like how her back feet are up on tippy toe.

…and speaking of tippy toes, here Gus is showing almost three of them to you.  He looks kind of surly here, but really isn’t.

I, too, like the second shot. It’s — edgy. She’s beautiful no matter what, tho, of course.
