As I promised yesterday, I’ve looked into the picture adder changes and I’ll use boring asides for those who are interested. There’s a few issues I have even before playing around with the new features.
When photo time came, the boys decided to hang around while I was messing with Calpurnia and I ended up getting some shots of them. I liked this one because the flash did not grey out his fur as it often does.
Julie was hanging out up higher. It was pretty funny earlier in the evening when I couldn’t get all the cats in at once. Julie was out, then Gus went out and Julie came in, then Julie went out, and then Calla, then Gus came in and ….
Finally I caught all three inside and was able to shut the door for the night.
I tried to get some action shots of Calla with the pink feather. This is the result, after she swatted it and ran off. Something about that toy gets her a bit threatened, until she runs off somewhere else. I think she’s a bit annoyed.
She looks extremely annoyed. That feather must be her nemesis.

They’re playing musical doors! As long as one of them is outside, they get to keep it open!
Calla does look annoyed, poor girl. Gus looks.. like he’s going to eat that box! And Julie looks like he’s in serious need of a nap!

I reserve the right to annoy her a little bit, every so often.
Gus is just rubbing the edge. It does make a good stepping stone down, but he won’t use it to go up.

Love the one of Gus, the black and white contrasts are lovely.

It’s so hard to photograph black cats, especially fluffy ones. So that photo of Gus (and his all-important nose) is really good.
