Lady Like

There’s the pretty lady Calla showing off her fluff.  She remained dignified today when all sorts of other trouble was brewing.  I got the call from the Vets about Gus’ blood test and while his thyroid levels were good his white blood count was high.  Since I had noticed him being punky the last few days myself, I decided to take him back and get an exam and antibiotic shot.

That all went well enough, but once back Julie was even more pissy than before.  He spat at Gus, who eventually went and holed up in the bathroom to get away from him, and even chased Calla away from the carpet.  I eventually let him out for a break, and when he came back he compounded things by throwing up himself a few times.  Fun, fun, fun.

I am lady-like at all times!

Gus ate dinner and seemed a bit better after a break.  Calla decided to hang out up on the bookshelves until things blew over.

Nyah, Nyah, Nyah!

It was actually funny how long she forgot to put her tongue away.  She couldn’t figure out why I was cracking up.

Oh, poor Gus. Such a stressful week.

TWO pics of Calla’s tongue? It’s Christmas, indeed. 🙂

    Poor Mr. Gus. Bad Julie.

Our fuzzy dignified girl sometimes forgets to put her tongue away too, and can’t figure out why we laugh. I don’t know how she doesn’t notice it’s getting dried out. Maybe they do it b/c they know it amuses we puny humans.

Poor Gus! I hope he has settled down a bit now. Calla really would not thank you for publishing those pics!

Calla is still somehow dignified, even with her tongue out! Silly girl!
