Sunny Day

Sunny but cold, for California.  Even though I didn’t get outside much I did crack out the new camera during the afternoon where the sun was lighting up the living room.

I did some experimenting with macro mode on Gus, but then Calla was sitting on the beret bed and I took a few pictures.  This was one of them.  She’s looking right into your soul.

Ima Gonna Bite You!

I can’t call this a masterpiece, but I like how his sticking his head into a sunbeam illuminated his fangs and whiskers.  I like how cats always fold down the ears when yawning.

But when you get him all the way in the sun, the new camera does pretty well, all told.

I love the fangy photo! He looks kind of like Fizzgig from “Labyrinth”.

  2. MOL, yes, very Fizzgig! From Dark Chrystal though. Was he also in Labyrinth?
I don’t know, that last picture of Julie is so clear and gorgeous. Look at those barely squinted eyes! since he’s a boy, I hesitate to say he’s pretty, but he is!
Calla, now, she’s gorgeous! Those eyes! Stunning! That pink little nose, just needs a kiss!

ah! (slaps head) You’re right, it was “Dark Crystal”. The last time I saw those movies it was on a double feature so my 80’s Muppet fantasies all ran together in my head.

At least you knew who I meant!

  3. She is a lovely creature, isn’t she?

Stunning pic of Calla! Lovely reflections in her eyes.
