Feeling Better

Gus Says Hello

After a few days of antibiotic pills Gus does look a bit more alert and less tired.  I’m not sure if he is grooming himself more, as I keep finding little knots and having to trim them.  For some reason he’s getting a bit of a curl in his fur.

Rumple Gus

He’s rubbing and purring on the table leg.  You can see a shaved part on that front leg from mats, and the trimmed body which looks a bit grey due to the darker tips being cut.  Maybe by the end of this he will be all trimmed close to the skin like a lion cut.

Calla and Blanket

Calla is still working on her orange blanket, even a day later.

  1. I’m glad Gus is feeling better! And that he’s getting rid of his ol’ mats! It’s funny, but my Star has always been curly when wet, but she’s looking a slightly curly in places all the time the older she gets. I wonder if it’s age? Or shortening hair? Because she’s shed and tugged out a lot as she’s having her spring rash early this year..
Calla is very dedicated to her task!
