Tuxie Town

Gus has been a bit absent from these pages recently, mostly because the Sz-12 camera tends to give him glowing eyes or flat grey hair when taking shots inside.  He’s feeling pretty well and today took a nice turn out front in the bushes, and followed that up by biting Julie on the side.  Not that I approve of that, but it does show him feeling perky.

Speaking of tuxies, Love and Hisses,  a blog I keep an eye on for kitten fix purposes, just had a momma cat give birth to a set of kittens this week.  The mom is a pretty all black girl with great orangy-copper eyes.  The kittens vary from all black to tabby, with three tuxies in the middle.  You can go back a few days if you want ‘fresh from birth’ pictures, or just start from now when they are a bit cleaned up.  Robyn will have these for a while until they are big enough for adoption, so there’s a lot of kitten watching to be had.

He’s doing better at keeping clean but I think there’s a few mats here and there that probably ought to be cut out.

I’m sure he’s thrilled at the prospect of another tussle with me over that.

  1. 😀 Yes, I’m sure you’re looking forward to the tussle

  2. Poor Gus, getting old and being sick is tough. We’re glad you’re feeling better!

  3. Gus is so cute that I just want to scoop him up and snuggle the stuffing out of him! Bet he’d hate it though.. More’s the pity. I’m so glad he’s feeling better! And I hope Julie doesn’t resent the bite too much.
We’ve been watching over at Love and Hisses for years, and LOVE the new babies!

We had hot and cold running tuxie/cowcat kittens around here till enough fixing finally happened. All that’s left is our boy.

Good to see Mr. Gus up and about!
