Wall and Tree

While the little dramas took place below yesterday, Julius was on guard on the back wall.  He seems to sense some crazed person about with a flashy box…

But duty calls, and soon he is back to looking out into the field below.  I don’t see much of interest myself out there, but Julie knows different.

Calla may not have enough spring in her legs to get up onto the wall, but she manages to get up onto the cat tree often enough, especially as it warms up.  It makes a good stand for pictures, too.

Julius reminds me of my own crew. They seem to notice things that aren’t there while missing the obvious.

    Love that first shot!

Lovely pics! I also love the exotic-looking flowers in the first two photos – it’s good to think there’s somewhere in the world enjoying some warm sunshine (two weeks of snow here, freezing east wind and no sign of spring).

The purple ones are from a “Purple Potato Bush” and the orange is a honeysuckle bush that is starting to take hold, although this one doesn’t seem to smell good like the white/yellow sort.

  4. He’s got his irritated ears on for that first picture! hee hee, disturbed him, did you? I’m sure you’re just not interested in the things he sees. What do humans care about rustling leaves, swaying branches, and little mousies scurrying in the grass..
Calla’s got the “I vant to be alone” look down pat!

  5. Great shots. They are all so beautiful!
