Easy and Hard Subjects

This evening the cats weren’t being good photo subjects – Gus is lying flat on his side in the middle of the walkway except when one of the other two walks by and gives him a sniff to see if he is still breathing (I suppose).  Then he pops his head up for a look.

So I went back to some of the weekend shots and found Calla being a good subject – staying in one position, looking in my direction and staying put…

Julie almost never does stay put, or face in your direction when outside.  If he faces you, it is on the way to walking past you to guard your back.  Otherwise he orbits like a little planetoid.

Even when I did get him in a good position he quickly was up and out…or he would have been if I didn’t hold him in place for a second or two.  That was all it took for him to ooze out and away.

  1. MOL, I wonder how many people hold their kitty for a picture? I have to sneak mine now because Star will stop doing whatever she’s doing and Leo will see the attention on him and come running for pets!
At least Calla cooperates. Most of the time.

I love the idea of Julie as a planetoid. You could always stick a smiley face on his tail, for occasions such as the second pic?!
