Mortal Kombat

Sometimes trying to take a picture of Julie can be risky, because if he gets into a hunting mood he’s very free with the claws.  He takes his hunting seriously, sometimes forgetting that it is just a game.

Here he has decided to hunt the elusive camera strap.

He’s so intent that he’s even forgotten to shut his eyes against the flash….

I picked up this rabbit skin from the Chumash Indian museum.  Since they did it, nobody can complain about it, I suppose.

Has he lost it?  Did it get away?

No!  A point for the hunter this time!

Look back at the forward whiskers in most of these pictures.  That’s the alert position!

  3. Yow, that boy has some claws! Such an intent attacker too!
That bunny fur is great, but do they ever chew on it? I have a lot of mice made from bunny fur, I would think they’d think it was another toy. Or do they use it for napping?

So far they just nap on it…I had a lambs hair thing that for a while Julie would pull some hanks out of but he hasn’t done that in some time.

Julie is probably thinking it’s about time you brought some prey back since he does it all the time.
