Suddenly Summer

It was warm again, although not as hot as the weekend.  Since I was going to work, I tried some extra steps and put a few handfuls of ice into the water fountain in the kitchen and into a separate bowl in the tiled area.

Somebody drank up the bowl of ice to the bottom, and the cats seemed perky enough when I got home, so it might have helped.  A good thing about true summer is that the evening temperature drop is more welcome than annoying.  I can open up the double doors and really air things out.

Somehow this picture makes Julie look tiny, the incredible shrinking Cat.

I’m not sure if I asked her if Calla would like her hair trimmed.  I keep saying that I will and not getting around to it.  She doesn’t like the process, that’s for sure.
