A Day in the Life

Good Morning!

Julie has taken to burrowing into this flap of the cover blanket on the sofa most mornings recently, which makes it hard for me because he is out of sight and I usually forget he goes there.  This time when I found him he gave me a big yawn.

There’s been a bit of disarrangement of the accustomed furniture locations too.

Calla doesn’t seem to mind that the canyon between the chair and hassock is gone.  She still uses the space as one of her spots.   Today was quite a bit cooler, but they still liked the little bowl of ice.  Gus spent some time guarding it from the others.

After dinner there was a flash of motion out back and some strange noises.  Both Julie and I went to investigate.  When we got out there was Calla looking innocent.  She does that well.

A bit later I got this shot of Julie on his wall.  While this angle puts a lot of strain on the poor tiny brain of the camera, it came out pretty well.

Some days are like that.

  2. Julie’s not yawning under that blanket, he’s laughing at you for not noticing him there earlier! Calla could be hiding all kinds of mischief under that fluff!
Julie and the sunset picture.. gorgeous!

With this I became aware, for the first time, of Calla’s reverse-spats (markings on her legs & feet). What a spectacular beauty she is.
