Thanks to all the good wishes for Mr. Gus. I think it is helping his attitude already, although the medicine makes him spit up some of his food every so often. But he is less grumpy and protective and seems willing to move around more. Yesterday I saw him out with Calla in the back yard before I went out there.
Also arriving was a set of Yeoww! catnip ball toys, one for each cat….
Julie, just to be contrary, decided to ham it up with this several year old banana toy that can hardly have much pop left. But I’ve found that a favorite old toy sometimes never loses its charm.
He did like the new balls too – I see one has huge tooth holes in it which had to be him.
Calla doesn’t admit to it, but there were times yesterday when she was running up and down the stairs and around the house. But she can quit at any time.
What a stunning photo of his eyes! they look like Australian opals!! I do hope he is feeling better,we don’t like it when the babies are unwell..sending hugs for Gus to get better quickly 🙂

Love Gus’ eyes! Glad he’s feeling a little better, and purring that he keeps feeling better and better!
Of course Julie played with an old toy, he didn’t want it to feel left out! (Star’s favorite toy is a butterfly that’s at least 7 years old, she likes it better than the identical one that’s new!)
Calla, gorgeous as always!

Aww yes cat nip. Ali got a new catnip ball with feathers and she is flying around the apt right this minute with a cat nip smile on her face.
