Cool Air

Temperatures dropped again, so rather than fighting for a cool breeze Calla was hunkering down in a ball to keep warm.  But she still likes to go outside, even so!

I wonder if this drop in temperature is related to the fact I just bought some misting tubes for hot weather?

Calla in warmer days…

Gus came out for a visit too.  Julie was off wandering.

It strikes me as very odd that Calla prefers to roll on her back outside in the ‘wild’ rather than inside where it is safer.

Today was the first time in a while…or maybe ever…that I sat down on the patio itself to be with the cats.  Pretty soon  I collected my own following there, too.

The fluffiness…My cats still go outside too…or climb trees…or go in the middle of the street/in the abandoned factory across *sigh*

Except for Julie, mine stay fairly close. The back yard is walled. Julie can jump it into a pool area and a gated RV park where he does his hunting. Calla will often explore the neighbor’s front porch area if I let her out front. Gus sometimes goes into the pool area from the front yard, but hasn’t this year.

    Those misters are GREAT.

    “Safer” is a relative term.
