Back in the Board Room

This week continues to be unrestful for the cats as the painters were still knocking around the house finishing up the trim and making all sorts of strange noises.  And at noon it was time to pack them all up and put them back in the carriers for the trip to the boarding room at the vets.

There are a few reasons to expect them all to be somewhat more relaxed this time.  They have done it before, for one thing, and survived.  There were no other cats in the room, so that kind of stress could be reduced.  Calla is getting a larger double cube, near the boys, which might be good for her.  The boys will share a large double box just like before, so they have space if they wand and can hang out close too.

Lurkertype asks what bad habit Calla will learn this time…it would be cool if she learned to bang her little tin cups against the bars of the cage.

We’ll be waiting with eagerness to find out! 🙂 Hope they are OK (and you too!) Purdey meanwhile is being freaked out by fireworks – which are being let off sporadically on random nights in the run-up to Hallowe’en and Firework Night (I don’t like this time of year for that reason!)

I got this mental picture of them with tin cans banging on the bars of the kennel meowing “Nobody Knows”.

Oh, she looks like she’s already got her next bad habit lined up and ready to roll.
