It is a little backwards, but here’s some pictures of the play session from yesterday that generated the encounter pictures with Julius.
First there is Davout, giving the camera strap the eye….
Meanwhile, Rhea was atop the bookshelf watching us below.
Davout got the strap, and pulled at it with all his might. I was torn between hurting his teeth and the camera!
I managed to get hold of him a bit later, after some of the encounters for a belly rub. He wasn’t quite in the mood because Rhea was moving about and he wanted to see what was going on.
I forget what had her giving me the ‘big eye’ look, but I like this picture a lot.
I could look at pictures of your fur babies all day long. I wish you were close by so you could take some great pictures of Truffle and Brûlée. You always have the most beautiful photos.

Love that last photo of Rhea. She is also beautiful.

I’m pleased to see Davout actually gets the camera strap sometimes! That’s an especially charming photo, something all of us can relate to, I’m sure! Also, Rhea can’t be prettier than in the last photo. You captured the full beauty and charm of your kitty in that photo, I think!

I try to be fair to the strap chasers and let them win, but it doesn’t always result in a good picture, or a picture at all!
