Laughing Girl

Laughing Rhea….do the blunt bottom fangs mean she’s shed those big baby teeth?

When I saw this Rhea was washing Davout’s head.  Of course she stopped once the camera came out.  I like how her legs look like his, and vice versa.

Another Davout fun fact – his between toe fur and toe tufts are very light.  You can thus count his toes all the time.  You can do the same with Julius for the opposite reason – tabbys have black on the bottom of their feet.

A more dignified picture of Rhea.

Davout always knows where the camera strap is….

Love the pic in the box, and Davout’s expression!

    Such beautiful and adorable kitties.

  3. Davout looks mad in that bottom picture! MOL! A kat after my own heart!♥

  4. Val says:

Looks like Rhea’s top fang is coming in next to her baby fang. I had a cat that did that. Sammy’s adult fang was completely in next to his baby fang. It was so cool.

  5. MOL! That first picture made us laugh too!

  6. Delaney says:

Davout looks so much bigger than Rhea in the second picture. Is their size disparity as large as it appears there?

    • Oldcat says:

Davout is a bit larger, as he’s several months older – born in July rather than October. He’s maybe a pound or so heavier. They are half brother and sister.

I think some of the apparent size difference is due to distance from the camera, though. Look at how large her paw looks near Davout’s head compared to the other one.

If you search for the post “Berry Box Kittens” there’s another picture with her in front that gives a better size comparison

  7. Aw, it sure does look like she’s getting her big girl fangs! The top one looks like the new one is coming in while the baby one is still there making it look like a double fang! MOL I’ve seen that before in kittens, and I think it’s too cute!
