Innocent Girl

I wasn’t sure if I could get a rise out of the kittens tonight.  We didn’t go outside for pictures early and Rhea was tucked behind the television.  Davout wasn’t very interested.

But after a few minutes who popped up in the way?  Rhea!

Did she really climb right over Davout and sit on his head to get into this picture?

Does she look like the sort that would do such a thing?

Davout thinks that she would and she did.

It is amazing how tiny Rhea can still look when she isn’t stretching out like a snake but bunching up in a ball instead.  Davout seems a lot more massive although he is a bit less than 7 pounds now.

He still wasn’t into playing much but he did come through the rail to sit nearer to Rhea.  This proved to be a mistake as she started poking at him and trying to rile him.

Eventually it worked and Davout gave back some of what Rhea had been dishing out.

  1. Careful what you wish for pretty girl! MOL
Right around six and a half to just under 7 pounds is Star’s normal weight, so I can now imagine Davout’s size! She’s down to just under six pounds now, perhaps Rhea’s size? Or is she smaller yet and just looks bigger for the floof?

It has been a while since Rhea was weighed, but she was about a pound less that Davout then, so that seems reasonable. I didn’t know Star was so small – even Calpurnia was over 10 pounds after settling in and wasn’t fat, and my other lady cats were that weight or more.
