Kitten in Bondage

I did a few dry runs of the harness and lead today.  Rhea didn’t collapse into a pile of mush but she was fairly hesitant about moving.  Sometimes she would forget and take a hop-skip and jump like normal.

We went to the edge of my driveway toward where the cats all run over to the neighbors but I stopped her short.  This was under a tree that was shedding seeds like little bombs.  Every few second one would hit nearby with a big whacking sound.  Rhea was curious, but I just wanted to get out of there before getting hit.

Here’s another view to show the comfy parts on the bottom.  It says “Cutie” over a picture of a pie.

So was her soul crushed by the experience?

Poor Davout was meeping at us from the back yard while we creeped down the front path outside.

Rhea did spend a lot of time grooming herself after I let her out of the harness.  But a few minutes after this Davout came ambling inside and I just had a feeling….

Rhea was over the fence in the pool area again!

I think Davout came in on purpose to fink on Rhea.

But the Stoolies and Guards can’t keep her down for long!

Her harness looks comfortable and what a little scamp she is to run off like she does.

Good boy, Davout! Rhea is exhibiting some wild tendencies best stopped before they are her downfall!

  4. Rhea really is a little beauty queen. I hated my harness but I learned to stay put to not have to wear it….most of the time!

  5. Incorrigible! MOL What an ornery little girl! How cute is Davout tattle telling on her though?! Whenever Star gets put in her harness, she gets all low to the ground and acts like she can’t move. It’s funny, but there is no way she would ever walk on it. it’s actually more of a calm her down things now when she’s wild and flipping out over something.
I hope Rhea learns her boundries soon! Adventerous girl!
