Seeds of Grass

The weather was pretty interesting today.  On the way home from work I could see a low cloud deck coming in from the ocean, so low that the mountains in the background stuck up into it.  By this time the clouds had advanced overhead.

I wanted something to entice Davout out from his hidey-holes so I plucked one of the seed fronds from my ornamental grass.

Rhea got the first test….and approved of it.

She is still very good about keeping up on two feet.  Opposable thumbs and world dominance is only a matter of time.

Davout could not resist its power….

Julie is on duty and has no time for this.

Look at that face!

Look at those whiskers!

Rhea then came to the patio to play.  Davout was his usual polite self, taking turns going for the seeds.

He’s such a nice brother.
