There have been several quick power outages tonight and my computers are very cranky, locking up when doing innocuous things. And earlier on Rhea got up onto the back wall in the corner and strolled a bit onto the back wall of the pool area. It is a bit dark but you can see the sound baffle wall for the freeway ramp beyond the back wall she’s on, then across the valley southwest to the Santa Monica Mountains behind.
She was a little miffed to be herded back home but jumped down all by herself. That brown hill in the distance is, coincidentally one I just hiked to the top of last Sunday. There actually is a buried water tank for the neighborhoods around it on top. It was about a 5-6 mile hike, although I did some extra strolling in a park out there.
Again Davout gave me a hint when she got up onto the wall.
When she got back, Rhea next was involved in chasing a hummingbird that was cruising around the honeysuckle plants. She was slinking about looking small and keeping her ears tucked in while she moved after it.
She also got in some grass chasing.
So much trouble to get into, so little time!
Lovely pics of Rhea on the wall, with the hills behind. But little minx….! Are you needing the harness now, or is she better behaved?

She has been better behaved in the last few weeks. She hasn’t jumped down on the far side of the back wall which is what I really want her to avoid. Otherwise she need to know the way back.

Oh my big brother is telling on her.
She is a little dare devil.
