Over Walls and Under Baskets

Over the weekend after I put some laundry away I left an empty basket on a table for a while.  It wasn’t long before I found that Rhea had gotten into the basket for a nap.

Last night after the post, she tried to repeat this but as she got in the basket fell off the table and did a half turn and caught her inside.  She just sat under it for a few minutes quietly until I lifted it off.

Over the weekend I picked up some garden stuff I wanted – some mulch to replace a lot of the natural stuff from the nearby trees.  I have been hacking away at the grass that makes Davout’s kitten cave, but he does like the open brickwork to sit on.

I doubt there was a connection but Rhea went over the wall again.  She pretty calmly went back to the corner where she jumped down….

Then she followed the common wall to the front fence….

I opened the gate to the back yard for her to come in.  Need to cut back that stuff there.

When I sat down she went over and hid behind Davout.

He’s a good kitty.

Looks like I missed a pine needle there.

Rhea can’t resist playing with it.

And chomping!
