Tussle Twins

With the cooler evenings the kittens are a lot more active, playing with each other.  One will charge the other, jumping over the top while the attacked kitten rolls to the side, then wrassling in a ball for a few seconds and breaking up.

They tend to take turns, and I think Davout pulls some punches as he is still a bit larger and stronger than Rhea is.

So she was resting in her tile patch when camera time started.

I can get closeups of Rhea without a toy prop, within reason.

Davout is a bit harder, so out comes the toy and up comes Rhea’s full attention.

She’s pushy, but Davout got some uninterrupted tries at the toy while she waited…

But her patience doesn’t last forever!

After the pictures, they two started another tussle war around the house.

  2. They are so darn cute! Would love to see some of the tussling play. Is it too hard to catch on camera?

That’s how it works, for sure! The cutest behaviors and poses always seem to happen after the camera’s set down! Alternatively, these happen when the subjects are in the darkest part of the house. Anyway, what you did capture is darling! Rhea will not be denied! (Watch it, Davout!)
