Backyard Hour

There was an unexpected breakdown when I tried to run some laundry today – the washer is not working.  So I had to take the clothes with soap already poured on them to a laundromat which took a big chunk of the afternoon away.

When I got back and opened up the back door Davout went out right away and settled down in his corner.

After a few minutes Rhea came out to join us.

She went to the brick rim of the corner planter and sat down on it.  I gave her some grass to sniff on.

The yard may be small but there’s a lot of interesting things to see.

Manage to get a nice portrait shot too.

Here’s Davout in his favorite spot.

Post Climb Over

Right after that, Rhea decided to get into the back behind him.  She stepped over him on the brick border for maximum annoyance to Davout.  Then she just stayed behind him making faces.

Little sisters can be annoying.

You take great photos- I really enjoy seeing such cute kitty faces every day. I had the same trouble with the washer last week- it is a front loader and the door lock went so it wouldn’t drain.

That’s what sisters (or brothers!) are for: to be annoying! 😉
