Parade!

Oops!  Hit the publish button a little early!

On Saturday, when I was doing laundry and the power failed, I had some heavy things and a pillow inside the washer.  I took the real wet stuff out to just get things dried overnight and yesterday put them outside to dry.  Rhea climbed on the pile to get a better look at the computer screen.

Rhea loved playing with the wand toy but Davout needed his turn so I moved it closer to where he was hiding behind my little wire mesh wastebasket.

Rhea will chase the lure anywhere!

And watch it if she can’t get close to it….

Davout pinned the feather to the wastebasket with his claws…then pulled over the wastebasket!

Wasn’t Me!

Davout then grabbed the toy and carried it around the room, followed by Rhea.  Look at his proud head and tail!!

They then left the toy and took turns pouncing on the paper from the wastebasket because of the sound it makes.

Then Rhea carried the toy into the mess of paper and had even more fun digging for it!

Every few minutes the toy moves to a new spot.  Luckily, neither kitten is too interested in chewing on it, just tugging it around.   Good times!

Haha, I have done this myself recently, the publish button is too close to ‘save draft’! But it’s OK! We can make up our own dialogue! 🙂

Wastepaper basket vandalism is a regular event here, but I was shocked to see Davout committed that sin, if in the heat of wand toy play!

He’s not yet pulled one over himself to see what is inside. Julie used to do that from time to time. It will be interesting to see if he does it now for fun,
