I thought it might be good to get an idea of the trimmage on Davout.  Sadly, it is not easy to give a good view of the changes.  The fur color tends to mask the different lengths.  But the stretch between those paws is down to the skin in the foreground, feeling like warm velvet.  A lot of the mane is short enough that reaching his tummy shouldn’t be a problem for some time.

Rhea’s trim is a bit smaller and more questionable to take pictures of.

Davout likes to ambush the toy on top of this carpet covered box.  It makes a satisfying thump when he pounces, like his own background music.

The pictures don’t show it, but between these still moments Rhea was crashing about after the toy, sometimes piling into the box like a bull in a china shop.

But after that, she leave the toy be for Davout to get his innings in.

She’s pretty smug about it.
