Surprise Present

I got a surprise call from the vets today.  When I bought the last flea treatment I was entered in some contest to win a basket of goodies and more flea treatment.  And I won!

I hope it was a coincidence that the wood shaving filling of the basket was very enticing to both the cats who started to eat it.  I eventually plucked this bit out of Rhea’s mouth because she looked like she was working on swallowing it.

There was a new wand toy inside too.  Davout is very concerned about this development.

There was a ball inside and Rhea has already chased it across the floor and back.

There was this treat dispensing ball.  Davout got the idea pretty quickly but couldn’t hit the ball hard enough with his paw to make it roll and dispense a treat.  So he bent down and head-butted the ball to make it roll a few inches and spill a snack.

Rhea likes the snake-bug-feather teaser thing pretty well.

There was also a bag of tartar-reducing treats I need to test out.  They look a lot like corks for wine bottles.  I need to break them up for little Napoleon mouths.

And the flea treatment is about a hundred bucks or so.  Now I just need to remember to put it on.
