Not the best picture, because she stopped making crazy eyes at me and turned to the toy. It does show the white surface on the bottom of all the platforms thought.
I managed to corral Davout and put him up top for treats. He has been hanging out on the base level on his own. I put a bunch of treats out on the platforms to make him have a good association with climbing.
Rhea looking up. They both like playing with this burlap ribbon from the gift basket if I drape it on the tree.
I’ve been trying to show Davout’s habit of cupping a paw under his mouth when eating treats but it is hard to get a good picture of it. After eating his share, he was content to stay there and lick his lips.
Too much hair in the mouth!
I’ve noticed that the pictures on the top of the tree look all futuristic and arty because of the stark whiteness and shapes…like a 1950s vision of the future.
Suddenly there was an interloper!
I was trying to adjust that ribbon around this time when Rhea got a finger with a claw or tooth or both and made a nice wound.
She was really annoying to Davout…reaching up to poke at his face, or turning around and swatting at his tail hanging over the edge.
He did get some licks in of his own and eventually drove her away so he could get down.
Being an annoying little sister can take all the energy out of one.
