So this morning I looked out the back and found that somehow I miraculously had gotten nearly and entire Christmas tree in my back yard from nowhere!
It did seem to be missing its trunk, but amazing nonetheless! That pile goes up to about eye level on me.
Filled up the table too!
For the depressing rationalists out there, a tree service was just through the other day and apparently did not bother to keep branches from the trees in front from dropping into my back yard.
Oddly, there is a Christmas Tree Farm within walking distance of my house. They are using land by the highway under power lines for it.
Cats love eating grass so much, that the fact that the blades are longer than their body doesn’t seem to deter them.
Rhea seems a bit annoyed that this path is so unkempt.
A few minutes later I opened up the front door and Davout went right out and started walking like a cat with a mission down the path.
Rhea didn’t seem like she wanted to follow.
Then Davout came rushing right back!
Turned out there were some people down the block in front of their house talking.
They never saw him or made much noise, but Davout needed to go partway upstairs just in case.
Too much excitement.
Time for a Wash.
Earlier in the day I went to check on where Anna was and couldn’t find her. I checked everywhere likely and some pretty unlikely spots until I found this spot high in the closet on a shelf behind clothes on a hanger and over behind a large stack of folded shirts.
She’s relaxing more with me with the days, not snapping when being pet or scratched. She’s started to lick my fingers sometimes too.
Saturday must be nap day for her, she spent the whole day there except for dinner.
