Comfort Zones

Status remains Quo here.  Anna seems to be content to stay upstairs dividing time between her safe room and the master bath and closet.  This gives her lots of different places to hang out without a major confrontation with the kittens.

If I am in the bedroom, the kittens are in the hall and near the bed and Anna is still separated.  If I am downstairs she can usually go anywhere without issues.

If I come to join her for long it usually brings one or more of the kittens to stay close and watch.  Davout came out from under the bed where I was reading to just outside the bathroom while I took pictures.

Anna still gives a warning if the kittens get too close, but both sides will back off and de-escalate any standoff.

I brought out a wand toy to distract Rhea.  She hogged it while Davout watched.

Little miss ferocious!

Why are cat paws and tongues so cute? I don’t know why, I just know they are.
