Media Babies

Anna’s latest course of medicine is basically out.  She will be due for a recheck soon.

Not the best picture, but I like Anna’s yawns.

The kittens show an occasional interest in the new TV setup, but nothing out of the ordinary..

Until tonight….

When there was a change in program from boring things!

I was checking the Youtube app and noticed a channel I subscribed to long ago that has videos for your cat.  I never had luck on the portable but the TV is another story.

Rhea would go behind the TV just in case the sound bouncing around back there was from a real bird.  I don’t think she totally thinks its real…certainly Gus and Julie were cowed by real blue jays about the size of these magnified chickadees.

When the subject turned to sharks Rhea used it for a quick snooze.

Davout watches another channel…Maru videos…with interest.

Rhea has a real thing for Maru’s fat tail.  She even smacks the TV repeatedly when he lashes it on the screen.

Sorry the pictures aren’t the best, but this was just so funny watching the kittens become entranced by the videos.

Haha, little angels! Purdey gets excited at wildlife documentaries, and I remember her being absolutely transfixed by Scottish wildcats. I jokingly told her it was her grandmother and I’m sure she believed me!

  2. I love it when the watch tv! My Star used to love to watch baby bears on tv. I don’t know how many times we watched a PBS special about young bears just so she could watch them.
I bet Anna is glad to be done with meds, hope her check up is all good news!

We had a particular animal special on VHS for our old cat. Something off PBS or Animal Planet. You never know what’s going to catch their attention, but it’s so cute when it happens.

I love the back of little Rhea’s head, with the pointy ears and the soft-serve swirl of her colors.

The way Maru lashes that tail, there must be a lot of smacking. What do they think of Shironeko and friends? Not as much action there, I guess.
