I started this blog four years ago today to talk about the issues in integrating a new lady cat into a pair of cats that got along well. Four years later, I’m still talking about the same thing with an entirely different trio of cats. Some things change, some stay the same.
A year ago, Rhea was the most junior cat of the bunch, and now she’s the old veteran running the place. In this picture she was hiding behind this post for safety from those scary boy cats. Now everyone hides from her!
Last year started with Gus running out of time with us, which was very sad but his years were starting to be a burden on him.
The loss of Julius last year was a bigger shock as his luck just ran out in August.
A bit of consolation was that this gave us room to rescue Anna from her unhappy situation and give her a better life.
And lets not leave out Davout!
Thanks for reading this blog all these years.
Blessing and Happiness to you ALL, Happy Anniversary, Thank you, love, nia

A lovely cycle – light and shadow, sadness and happiness. If I had Davout I would just want to scoop him up all the time and cuddle him which I suspect he would not like! 🙂

He runs from the scooping butp politely puts up with cuddling if you catch him

Now I’m wondering how many pounds of cat fur you could have collected the past 4 years.
