Out without a Bang

Off work for the 4th of July today but didn’t let the cats out until after dinner.  The birds outside were both an object of interest and concern since they where chirping loudly at the cats.  Rhea kept pivoting the ear back when chirping was loudest.

Davout came out farther today and sat next to Rhea…when someone came out too!

The kittens made way for the old boy.

Harrison moved on to his favorite area in the side yard, but then came back to where I was sitting.

Rhea watching birds.  Later on inside, there was some noise from a firework show. Nobody was particularly scared, as it was far off.  I checked in on Anna and she was not scared either.

I need to do some cleanup of the yard but it does a good job of setting off her fur even so.

Love the second photo of the three of them on the path.
Have a good 4th. Ali is jumpy and we have fixed a tent in the closet of her where she is spending a lot of time.

Miss Rhea is the picture of intensity.

I like that the kittens defer to scruffy little Harrison.

  4. Always love the photos of your kitties. Glad the fireworks don’t appear to bother them.

Happy Independence Day from Truffle and Brulee. We hope you don’t have to endure too many of those annoying firecrackers today.
