When you are in California, you never expect it to be raining. And when it does, it is a lame sort of rain. So in the late morning when the back yard was wet from raining it was something of a shock.
And later, it really started coming down. Rhea wanted to see it, but as drops from the roof splashed in her direction she started shrinking back toward her back legs until she was packed in very tight.
There was a pressure test of the A/C venting this morning – part of the process of getting the city permit – and Rhea was pretty funny. She would watch the man setting up, then sometimes rocket downstairs when there was a noise, then head up and start playing with the zippers of his equipment bag.
I also assembled my carpet cleaner and she fell in love with the papery insert which is like a giant egg carton. It is like a cat bed….
And a scratching post…
And it is even fun to bite and chew on!
