I got home a bit late but there was time to let the cats out back. The light was getting a bit flat as the sun got lower and lower which made the overall look of the shots change from the normal view you get in more normal light.
The aversion to the A/C unit when running continues and so I had to sit in a narrow section of the yard. But there was something for the kittens to do there, climb the furniture, or peek through the crack of the wall at the neighbor’s cookout.
Harrison finished his dinner and came out, and had no qualms about passing me and going right out to the far part of the yard.
He did stop for a little bit on the way out and the way back.
After a little tour of the far part of the yard Harrison started playing in the leaf litter and making noise which made Davout come out for a look at what was going on.
This alerted Rhea, too.
Davout decided to be the brave big brother and shield Rhea from the danger….
…but she pushed right past him and went over to Harrison and touched noses. Davout thought he might go closer to that A/C and see for himself.
Then he thought better of it and sat down to think it over.
Despite being made nervous by just about everything, Davout will certainly be the one asking for the door to be opened tomorrow and the next day. A little adventure suits him very well.
