Return of the Undercover Mouse

A long time ago I took that undercover mouse toy upstairs to see what Anna thought of it.  I put it in a closet and lost track of it…until today.

After some cautious watching, Davout got into it.  He would dive at one spot and wait for the mouse to come around to his paws.  That’s efficient.

About to pounce…

Rhea prefers stealth….

I brought Harrison up to see…

This was right in his wheel-house.  He already likes to bat at toys low rather than go up after them.

He caught it time after time….like a boss.

He’s been really sneezy today.  Here he’s about to do it again.

Davout takes a break.

Rhea eventually knocked her concealing box over onto its side so she could leap out without an embarrassing trip over the side flaps.

I would never have guessed Rhea was a box cat! On the other hand, Dougy, my box cat, uses his box in exactly the same way — a hiding spot from which to attack Da Bird when it swooshes by! Lots of wonderful kitty photos today. Nicely done!

Rhea is so pretty. My tortie got a new Amazon box today too.

Harrison continues to be adorable. Yay for floor toys.
