Contrarian

I need to stop saying things.  Almost as I was typing yesterday’s post, Rhea was upstairs tearing the cardboard away and breaking into Anna’s room.  It got a bit loud but otherwise no harm was done.  I blocked up the gap with a heavy computer speaker and a little bit ago Rhea was up there scooting it away from the gate.  It is one of those subwoofer units for a computer, so its pretty heavy.  At least she’s getting a workout.

Also, after saying how Harrison was settling into a dependable eating pattern, these last few days he’s been way off his feed, hardly eating at all.  He doesn’t seem particularly ill.

At least today Harrison ate quite a bit.

Davout hasn’t been contrary, at least.  Perhaps if I don’t say what he is doing or not doing he won’t be able to make a liar out of me.

After getting Rhea away from the door, I turned on the undercover mouse for some playtime.

Rhea now has something else to be a creepy stalker.

Davout was pretty careful at first.

<sigh>.  She’s such a cutie, even when she’s bugging the crap out of Anna.

Davout still has those crazy whiskers.

It must be like having a kindergarten of naughty children! 🙂

It’s hard to even call Rhea ‘naughty’. Rhea has mixed well with Davout, Gus, Julie, and now Harrison quickly with no issues. I have to think that without Anna’s overreactions, Rhea would not be so active in messing with her.

By the same token though, Anna doesn’t have the same type of problem with Davout or Harrison. Perhaps it has more to do with how each interacts with other females?

I’m not big believer in sex based hostility in cats. Anna does hiss at the boys when they are first seen just like she does with Rhea. It just doesn’t puss them off.

Rhea is tenacious, that’s for sure! Anna would be better off to become her friend and get it over, but how do you convince Anna?
