Anna had a nice day in her room, although Rhea just outside seems to be giving her the heebie-jeebies.
Davout has been getting more proactive about asking for some playtime with the feather toy. Rhea even has been letting him take a lot of the time chasing the toy.
I tried to drop the toy on the chair, and Davout sort of went for it, but not so much that he climbed up. Rhea got onto the seat of the chair.
I tried upping the ante by putting the feather onto the highest platform on the cat tree. Davout looked on wistfully.
Rhea was the driving force instead. She circled around the tree, made a start at climbing up the platforms (as she knows well how to do)…then took some measurements.
Then instead she reached up for the string and pulled the toy down to her level. Victory!
Seriously, that was pretty clever thinking on her part.
I gave Davout a more fair chance to catch the toy on his own. He liked that.
