Rhea is getting a little bit of a dental cleaning tomorrow, and some of her fur knots trimmed. Let the vet techs get her mad rather than me.
Davout’s whiskers are in a fine mood.
Look at the teeny feet illusion!
Rhea is pretty amazed by it all.
So is Anna!
Even with the door closed Anna keeps being distracted by the door. But I managed to get her messing with my hands most of the time, spinning in a circle. She likes to turn away from me but spins back to attack if you touch her tail.
The camera strap was of course a big attraction too.
Who is at that door??
All gorgeous! But what is up with Davout’s whiskers! I’ve never seen such wild whiskers before!!

They are a bit twisty and seem to snap into different shapes.

How often it is recommended to take your cat to a dental cleaning?

It depends on the cat, really. At the regular exam if there is tartar buildup it is good to clean it and avoid decay and losing teeth.

I never tried yet with my cat and she’s almost 2 years old. You think I just go for a checkup?

Yes, you could even ask the vet for signs of tooth issues before they get bad.

Thank you for your advice, I will, because she has an awful smell from her mouth
