Davout got his vet visit in the afternoon. He’s not a fan of going to the vet even though everyone just gushes over him there, even the doctors.
It was made even worse because there was no A/C in there today and it was very hot. Davout started panting several times out of a mix of nerves and the heat.
He doesn’t have a temperature and the vet didn’t see any other issues. I got some antibiotics made to settle the tummy and I need to add Fortiflora and fiber to try and help as well. He’s getting enough fluids despite diarrhea.
While he has some troubles, he isn’t slowing down since being a bit low last week. Here he is going for a feather toy.
While waiting for the feather to come back, there’s time to sharpen those claws.
He’s happier concentrating on the toy rather than thinking about the vet visit.
I can imagine he does get a lot of “ooo’s! and “awwww’s!” at the veterinarian’s! He’s such a pretty boy!:

Poor baby! I hope he gets to feeling better soon. Tummy troubles are the worst – for humans and cats!!

Looking quite bight eyed in that last photo for a guy with tummy troubles. Probably so happy to be back home.

Except for a day or so last week, when it started, he’s acted normally. But when the issue wasn’t going away I needed to double check there wasn’t some sickness going unseen.
