Seven years ago I adopted Calpurnia, thus taking me into three cat territory for the first time. She was rescued from the city pound after some neglect but with a little TLC became the lovely queen of the yard.
Despite her long hair and hot days she always loved being outside in the yard more than anything.
Davout is the same way about being in the back yard, although he is more skittish about outside noises than Calla was.
The other amazing thing that happened today was a huge number of hits I got today, a record for the blog. Apparently THIS document is responsible, being a kind of lesson plan or activity sheet directing people to the Cat Genetics Pages in the menu.
It would be interesting to find out what school or center is using the page.
On a normal day those pages do get a few hits, but today they got a hundred times as many.
Will Rhea get stage fright with all the new visitors?
Beautiful cats
